Ambassador: Russia, Serbia discuss privatization of HIP Petrohemija

BELGRADE, Apr 15 (PRIME) -- Russia and Serbia are discussing privatization of Serbia's largest petrochemical producer HIP Petrohemija, where the government owns the controlling stake and NIS, affiliate of Gazprom Neft 20.86%, Ambassador Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko told PRIME on Thursday.

"This issue was discussed thouroughly at a meeting between CEO of Gazprom Neft Alexander Dyukov with President (of Serbia Aleksandar) Vucic, and preliminary agreement was attained," the official said.

He said that the negotiations continue at the expert level.
